Colourful mural painting street takes shape in Da Nang

The paintings depict cultural life, natural landscapes, and the daily life of local people. The opening ceremony attracts plenty of people curious to visit the site. Hoang Son Tra, head of the Son Tra district government, says that the project is to create a green living space for locals, promote the cultural values of the coastal area, and encourage people to safeguard the country’s sea and islands. The mural street will also help to turn the area into a popular tourist destination in the district, says the official. He directs relevant agencies to popularize the mural painting street at Da Nang airport and hotels as the latest check-in destination in the city. Hanoi Streets brightly decorated ahead of National Day celebrations

Red flags, banners, and slogans have been colouring Hanoi’s streets, including Hoang Dieu, Hung Vuong, Dinh Tien Hoang, Thanh Nien, among others, over recent days. Large posters featuring slogans for the 77th anniversary of National Day are hung out across the capital. Red flags are put on display at Ba Dinh Square where 77 years ago on September 2, 1945 President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence, proclaiming the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.   Impressive banners are hung out along Hoang Van Thu street leading to the Presidential Palace. Hoang Dieu street close to Ba Dinh Square is full of flags and banners ahead of National Day celebrations. A large-sized poster is put up at the Lieu Giai-Van Cao crossroads.
