Vietnamese designer showcases new collection at Thai fashion week
The collection makes use of both Vietnamese and Thai silk as the key material, whilst also featuring traditional patterns such as lilies, roses, and chrysanthemums. The designs clearly show the culture exchange between the two neighbouring countries, and at the same time send a message about people’s responsibility towards environmental protection, Huy said. The event saw Thuy Tien, Miss Grand International 2021, take on the role as vedette. The other celebrities invited to model Huy’s collection include Fom Natrawee Chiarasathid, Miss Earth Water Thailand 2022, Bao Ngoc, Miss Intercontinental 2022, and Ha Kieu Anh, Miss Vietnam 1992. The International Thai Silk Fashion Week jointly organised by the Association of Thai Silk Promotion and the Association of Thai Culture and Promotion is running from December 6 to 11.
