Morning cold rain sees Hanoians grapple with traffic jams
The prolonged spell of rain leaves many parts of Hanoi flooded, causing traffic jams during rush hour. Rain on the morning of October 20 leaves many residents of the capital stranded in rush hour congestion. Heavy rain makes it a huge challenge for local people to commute to work. A woman takes 30 minutes to travel from Thanh Cong street to Kim Ma street amid heavy traffic and chilly conditions. Traffic police brave the morning rain to try to ease traffic congestion.
