A close look at Vietnamese PM’s Cambodia visit in photos
This is Chinh’s first official visit to Cambodia as Prime Minister of Vietnam, and it is also the first visit of a key Vietnamese leader to Cambodia during the Vietnam – Cambodia Friendship Year 2022. Upon his arrival, PM Pham Minh Chinh lays flowers at the Independence Monument, King Norodom Sihanouk Memorial, and Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Movement in Phnom Penh. The PM and his entourage lay flowers at the King Norodom Sihanouk Memorial. PM Hun Sen hosts a welcoming ceremony for PM Chinh on November 8 morning. In the photo, the two PMs review the guard of honour during the ceremony. Shortly after the ceremony, the two PMs hold talks on measures to strengthen the Vietnam – Cambodia relations. They both agree to further strengthen Vietnam – Cambodia defense and security cooperation, emphasizing that they would not allow any hostile forces to use the territory of the one country to harm security and interests of the other country.
