Nguyen Huynh Phu Vinh, the power forward of the 2022 VBA winner, recently shared what he carries in his backpack to training sessions. While Vinh’s backpack contained common items like basketball shoes, a water bottle, towels, a laundry bag, an extra T-shirt, and whey protein powder, many fans were surprised to also see muscle relaxers, manual massage tools, and resistance bands. Both Phu Vinh, who was part of the national 5×5 men’s basketball team that competed in the 2022 FIBA Asia preliminary round in Mongolia from November 10-14, and Tim Waale contributed to the Saigon Heat’s three VBA triumphs in 2019, 2020, and 2022.
