Ninh Binh province and Saiki city (Oita province, Japan) have just signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation, exchange and friendship. During nearly six months with the efforts of the two local governments, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam and the support of the Vietnamese Embassy in Fukuoka, Japan, at the Saiki city government headquarters, the signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding on cooperation and friendship between Ninh Binh province and Saiki city took place. The signing ceremony took place during the Sakura Festival of Saiki City and especially in 2023 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan. A pot of orchids has been sent from Da Lat city, a famous land for orchid farming in Vietnam, to make the Tet celebration there more joyful.
