Vietnam Calls for Singapore’s Support in Digital Infrastructure Building

Photo: VNA The Vietnamese Prime Minister met his Singaporean counterpart, Lee Hsien Loong, on the sidelines of the 40th and 41st ASEAN Summits and Related Summits in Phnom Penh, Cambodia on November 12, VGP reported. The two Prime Ministers agreed to direct relevant ministries and agencies to figure out a digital economy-green economy partnership framework and coordinate organizing activities to mark the 50th founding anniversary of diplomatic ties and the 10th founding anniversary of the strategic partnership between the two countries in 2023. The pair also agreed to coordinate more closely at regional and international forums, especially ASEAN and the United Nations, thus contributing to the consolidation of unity and the central role of ASEAN as well as to peace, stability, development, and prosperity in the region.
