Classical Indian dances performed in Phu Yen province
The event was part of the show series co-hosted by the Indian Embassy and the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to celebrate the 50th founding anniversary of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and India. In her remarks, Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Committee Ho Thi Nguyen Thao said Phu Yen has worked to expand its cooperation with Indian partners, noting that India is now a leading investor in Phu Yen and has supported the province in social welfare. Cultural exchanges between Phu Yen and India have also been diversified with such activities as the celebration of International Day of Yoga and the Namaste Vietnam Festival, the first of its kind in Vietnam, she added.
