President Ho Chi Minh temples in Mekong Delta region
Local authorities and people offer incense and lay a wreath at the President Ho Chi Minh Temple in Soc Trang province to celebrate his 133rd birthday this year. Ca Mau City has up to seven President Ho Chi Minh Temples, with the one in Ward 1 considered the largest of its kind. Many locals and tourists visit the site each year to express gratitude to the late president. The President Ho Chi Minh Temple in Ngoc Hien district was built on September 10, 1969, eight days after his death. It is the first built in Ca Mau City. State leaders and people visit the site each year to pay their respect to the late president.
