Thung Nham Bird Park: Discover The Land of A Thousand Birds
Driving about 4km from Bich Dong Pagoda, you will arrive at Thung Nham Bird Park – the home of thousands of birds. Thung Nham is the contiguous place between Hoa Lu district and Gia Vien, Nho Quan, and Tam Diep city districts, which all belong to Ninh Binh . It is home to 46 bird species with about 50,000 individuals, popularly storks, herons, silver teals, white-rumped shamas, etc. Many of these are recorded in Viet Nam Red Book, a list of Vietnam’s most rarest creatures.
