Pure white lotus enchants flower lovers in Hanoi

A white lotus flower in full bloom at a lotus pond in Tam Hung commune in Thanh Oai district of Hanoi Each white lotus features thick petals, with each flower having a charming scent that is widely enjoyed around the pond. The white lotus pond has not only lured local visitors, but has also commanded the attention of many freelance photographers. Lotus flowers can be seen entering full bloom around May, with this typically lasting until August. Each day the site attracts between 50 and 200 arrivals, with visitors keen on snapping wonderful pictures alongside the picturesque flowers. President Ho Chi Minh temples in Mekong Delta region

Local authorities and people offer incense and lay a wreath at the President Ho Chi Minh Temple in Soc Trang province to celebrate his 133rd birthday this year. Ca Mau City has up to seven  President Ho Chi Minh Temples, with the one in Ward 1 considered the largest of its kind. Many locals and tourists visit the site each year to express gratitude to the late president. The President Ho Chi Minh Temple in Ngoc Hien district was built on September 10, 1969, eight days after his death. It is the first built in Ca Mau City.
