Vietnam Wins Golds at 2022 International Circus Festival
The festival featured nearly 30 circus acts by more than 100 artists from four Vietnamese troupes and five international troupes from Canada, Belarus, Laos, Cambodia, and Egypt. Photo: Quang Tan The 2022 International Circus Festival, which saw the participation of nine domestic and foreign troupes, closed on December 7 at Hanoi Central Circus after a week of brilliant performances, VNA & VOV reported. The Dec. 2-7 event was jointly arranged by the Performing Arts Department, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Hanoi’s Department of Culture and Sports, the Vietnam Stage Artists’ Association, the Vietnam Circus Federation, and other relevant organizations. The troupes came from six countries, namely Canada, Belarus, Laos, Cambodia, Egypt and host Vietnam.
