AFP’s twenty incredible Olympic-themed photos on display in Hanoi

A photography exhibition entitled “Road to 2024” is being displayed on the outside walls of the French Embassy in Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi. Israeli electro-pop band to rock Hanoi this June

A couple of artists from Israel, namely Guitarist Anton Dmitriev and Julia Garnets, will perform in Vietnam for the first time on June 3, bringing magnetic energy both on and off stage.   The duo of musicians is of the electro-pop band “Ice Hokku”, regularly selling out concerts in Tel Aviv. Their performance in Vietnam will follow the European tour. “Ice Hokku is the perfect expression of Israeli culture and attitude. They bring the local sounds of our region but add a touch of innovation to the mix. European Film Festival 2023 opens in Hanoi

The European Film Festival (EUFF) 2023 in Hanoi opened on the evening of May 21, screening films from 19 European countries, starting with Close – the film that won Grand Prix award at the Cannes Film Festival 2022. Featuring a selection of contemporary European cinema, including several award-winning entries, EUFF 2023 presents stories set in a range of spatiotemporal contexts. Taking the idea of “journeys” as its starting point, the festival introduces a diverse cast of characters – parents and children, athletes, artists, writers, emigrants, friends, and strangers – who travel across the continent to explore their identity, community, and heritage, often having a memorable time in the process. Charity concert to support the community in Hanoi

The Vietnam Youth Music Institute (VYMI) and the Hoan Kiem District People’s Committee will jointly organize a charity concert entitled “VYO Community Concert” 2023 on May 28 at 9:30 am at the Center for Arts and Culture, No. 22 Hang Buom Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi. The concert aims to help underprivileged children in Vietnam. This weekend, the pedestrian areas around Hoan Kiem Lake will be turned into a miniature Europe with a variety of artistic, culinary, and lifestyle experiences for the public. Organized by the Delegation of the European Union (EU) and EU Member States, Europe Village – the largest European cultural event in Vietnam in 2023 – will take place from May 12 to 14 and promises to offer a memorable journey through the diversity of European cultures. South Korea’s Chef Show hits capital stage

South Korea’s Chef Show 2023 with the debut held on May 5 won over audiences in Hanoi.   This is a non-verbal performance program that focuses on the artist’s expressions. At Bibap Restaurant, the group of eight performers took on the role of chefs.
