Hanoi to open Craft Village Festival 2022
Hanoi Craft Village Festival 2022 will take place from October 10 to 16 at Thang Long Imperial Citadel, according to Hanoi People’s Committee. Photo: Hieu Tran Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Nguyen Manh Quyen said the festival, to be held annually, is aimed at building handicraft village tourism products and promoting craft village and trade street tourism . It would also be an opportunity for traditional craft villages in Hanoi and across the country to seek cooperation opportunities. The opening ceremony of the festival will be held at the Doan Mon Gate square where various cultural activities and art performances will take place. This year’s festival will feature 200 booths that are divided into six areas displaying handicrafts from Hanoi and other provinces and cities nationwide, including Bat Trang ceramic, Van Phuc silk, Ha Thai lacquer, and Phu Vinh bamboo and rattan, among others
