Ho Chi Minh City organizes activities to mark Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day

The activities included a walk for a clean and green environment, a performance of the Vietnamese ‘ao dai’ of different periods, and a parade of vintage cars, motorbikes, and bicycles.

These activities aim to raise awareness of the importance of protecting and promoting the value of cultural heritage, while encouraging the people, especially the young generation, to preserve and promote national cultural values, thereby spurring patriotism and pride in Vietnamese cultural identity, according to the District 1 People’s Committee.

The administration recently launched several tourism products to promote cultural and historical values, including half-day tours allowing visitors to experience and explore the 300 years of culture and history of Ho Chi Minh City.
