The travel website suggests guests spend time discovering the cuisine and culture of Hanoi. Located south of world-famous Ha Long Bay, Cat Ba island offers a more rugged, adventurous getaway compared to its headline-grabbing neighbour. Buon Ma Thuot is widely considered to be the country’s coffee capital, particularly as the lush hills surrounding the city, combined with the cooler, arid climate of the region, make up the perfect conditions to grow the product. It’s now a popular destination for all, though adrenaline-seekers are especially well-catered for thanks to the canyoning trips to nearby waterfalls. Taking a food tour is a fresh experience in Ho Chi Minh City. Visitors can sample famed street food such as bun thit nuong, banh mi, and com tam before taking in the sunset over the Saigon river and glittering skyscrapers around the Thu Thiem peninsula.

Known as the flower capital of the Mekong Delta, Sa Dec is a great place to visit in the run-up to the Lunar New Year (Tet). Situated on the banks of the mighty Mekong River, life here typically revolves around water. Guests can hop on a motorbike and explore the small roads and paths that run past flower farms and rice paddies.
