Art programme to welcome Lunar New Year’s Eve

With a combination of a 360-degree circular stage featuring a wide range of visual effects, and a large studio, the show promises to be a thrilling reunion for guests.

The programme includes two parts: the first part is named "Vietnamese fairy tales" and tells the proud characters and stories of Vietnam, such as the story of Professor Nguyen Van Huyen – the first Vietnamese to successfully defend his doctoral dissertation at the Sorbonne University in Paris, France in 1934; the story of the first Manager of the Piano Faculty of Vietnam Music School (now the Vietnam National Academy of Music) Thai Thi Lien – the first Vietnamese to earn a university degree at the prestigious Prague Academy of Music; or the story of 100 years of painter Bui Xuan Phai and his famous paintings.

Meanwhile, second part titled "Outreach dreams of the Vietnamese" brings a meaningful and profound dialogue with Lt. Gen. Pham Tuan, the first Vietnamese to fly into space; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Anh Tuan, Director of Vietnam Space Centre and artists who help to spread Vietnamese culture around the world such as Meritorious Artist Tran Ly Ly or director Tuan Le.

Along with profound stories, the programme also feature art performances by well-known artists; it is expected to round the audience with proud feelings of their homeland, and the jubilation of the reunion.
