It was also meant to share experiences to realise contents in the cooperation agreement between the Secretariat of the Lao NA and the Office of the Vietnamese NA signed in May 2022, thus tightening solidarity between their officials, toward marking the Year of Vietnam-Laos Solidarity and Friendship, the 60th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties and the 45th anniversary of the signing of Treaty of Amity and Cooperation.
On the occasion, participants also had a chance to join cultural and sport exchanges, and visit tourist destinations in Quang Binh.

It also helps to enhance cooperation between the NA offices of the two countries, he added, Nhan dan (People) newspaper reported.
He suggested the Vietnamese and Lao NA Secretaries General tighten their cooperation and work to boost the implementation of collaboration activities as agreed by the top legislators.
For her part, Pingkham Lasasimma thanked Vietnam, particularly the NA and its Office, for their support to the Party, State and people of Laos in various fields, including medical supplies for the Covid-19 combat and the sharing of experience in post-pandemic socio-economic recovery and NA House management./.
