Macau company proposes holding professional international boxing tournament IPBU in Vietnam

The provincial People’s Committee on Thursday asked the Department of Culture and Sports to study the proposal by Heng Heng Company, the organizer of IPBU, and report the results to the provincial administration before Saturday. Heng Heng said it was authorized by New Long San Group and Crazy Sports Group Limited to hold the tournament with some 500 bouts per year in Macau and Hainan Province, China. The international tournament attracts boxers from countries around the world. Heng Heng will organize its first bout since the end of the COVID-19 pandemic on May 31 in Macau. A company representative said it chose Nha Trang because the city has lodging facilities, tourist sites, favorable weather conditions, international air routes, and infrastructure which meets requirements for the tournament and can enable a large number of guests to attend and watch the bouts. Australia hosts gala to mark 50 years of ties with Vietnam

The event, hosted by the Australian Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City, highlighted Australia’s culinary excellence and featured premium Australian food and beverages. The gala was attended by vice-chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Vo Van Hoan, Australian Ambassador to Vietnam Andrew Goledzinowski, Consul General of Australia in Ho Chi Minh City Sarah Hooper, and world-renowed Vietnamese-Australian chef Luke Nguyen. Rose said that her design depicts the image of a flame and uses a variety of flowers in shades of purple and yellow to create a natural light that shines down on the flower lamp post. According to the florist, in line with the Chelsea Flower Show’s criteria for the development of sustainable and environmentally friendly horticulture, her design does not use plastic.
